You approve a written quote before any work starts, most screen, battery and port repairs are finished the same day when you book ahead, and every repair carries a 1–6 month warranty.
Same-day repairs: book a day or two ahead and we reserve a slot for you. Walk-ins welcome — timing then depends on how busy we are.

We repair laptops, PCs, MacBooks, iMacs, iPads, consoles and electronic boards. Diagnostics cost R350 (R499 for Apple devices) and are waived when you go ahead. Where can I get my computer or laptop repaired near me?
At Genious Services, Unit 28, 587 Jones Road, Jet Park, Boksburg — about 10–15 minutes from Boksburg, Kempton Park, Benoni and Germiston, 25–30 minutes from Sandton and Rosebank and 35–45 minutes from Centurion and Pretoria. Walk in Monday–Friday 8:00–17:00 or Saturday 9:00–16:00.
Can you repair my device on the same day?
Very often, yes. Book a day or two before your visit — by phone, email or the repair form — and we reserve a same-day slot and have the part ready for you. Walk-ins are always welcome too, but then same-day turnaround depends on how busy the workshop is that day. Either way, we tell you honestly when you can expect your device back.

How much does MacBook repair cost?
Typical prices: MacBook Air screen R5,000–R13,000, MacBook Pro 14″ screen R8,000–R18,000, battery R1,000–R4,000, keyboard R2,000–R6,500, USB-C or MagSafe port R600–R2,500 and logic-board repair R1,500–R18,000.
How much is an Apple diagnostic?
R499 for every Apple device — MacBook, iMac, iMac Pro, Mac mini, Mac Studio, Mac Pro and iPad. Other devices are R350. The fee is waived when you go ahead with the repair.
Where can I repair a liquid-damaged MacBook?
Bring it to our Jet Park workshop as soon as possible. Switch it off, do not charge it and do not try to dry it with heat. We clean the board ultrasonically and repair corroded components; liquid-damage repair is typically R3,000–R12,000.
Can you replace a USB-C port?
Yes — on laptops, MacBooks, tablets and consoles, usually the same day when booked ahead. Laptop and MacBook USB-C ports cost R600–R2,500.
Can you replace an HDMI port?
Yes — on laptops, desktop PCs, MacBook Pros that have one, PS5, PS4 and Xbox. Laptop HDMI ports cost R800–R3,000; PS5 HDMI ports R1,400–R2,200.
Do you repair laptops that won’t turn on?
Yes. We test the charger, port, battery and power circuits and repair the failed component at board level.
How long does a computer repair take?
Most screen, battery, keyboard, port and software repairs are done the same day when booked ahead. Motherboard and logic-board repairs take 1–14 working days, depending on part availability.
Do you repair multiple computers for businesses?
Yes. Select "Company / Business" in the form, choose how many devices you need repaired and complete a section for each. You get a quote per device and one company invoice.
Do you offer computer repairs near me?
We have one workshop in Jet Park, Boksburg, which is central to the East Rand and within 25–45 minutes of Johannesburg, Sandton, Midrand, Centurion and Pretoria. We do not collect or courier devices.
What warranty do you give?
Every repair carries a 1–6 month warranty on parts and labour, depending on the repair. If the same fault returns within the warranty period, we fix it free of charge.
